A Veteran's Best Firend is charity that provides assistance dogs (using rescue dogs) to Scottish Armed Forces Veterans. This service helps veterans in Fife, the surrounding areas, and Scotland as a whole. 

 

We also run a hub out of the Linton Lane Centre every Sunday night from 19:00hrs - 21:00hrs, open to all members of society that support the armed forces, veteran community. A place to come, have an informal chat, there are even games to play and more importantly, plenty of tea and coffee!  Dogs are more than welcome too, you may even get help with training your dog by our trustee and ambassador: Rod Stoddart (MBE); Rod is our head of dog training and is also a Dog Training Officer with Trossachs Search & Rescue; he also has over 40 years experience as a search and rescue dog handler.
