"At Cooking For Fun sometimes we cook a sweet dish sometimes we cook a savoury dish but it’s not all about cooking; there is the social side of it also as a lot of people don’t manage to get out and socialise.  A few of the members who come to the group say that they would just stay at home and watch telly and be eating snacks and junk food if they weren’t coming along to my class." Everyone is welcome at the Cooking For Fun class  – often people come along with their carers to the group – there is no referral system.   However the group operates an over 18 age policy as the students will be using sharp knives.

The class is £3.00 per week and all the ingredients are provided for cooking a savoury meal or sweet which can be taken home. All provided in a welcoming and friendly environment.
