Leigh, 24, is ecstatic to be a part of the Stages team as the schools manager as well as a full time dance teacher.
For years Leigh danced with Stages from the age of around 5 all the way up until she was 17. The time came for her to fly the nest and experience the big bad world. She went on to complete a 3 year HND in Musical Theatre at The MGA Academy Of Performing Arts in Edinburgh and completed her course with an A grade in 2018.
After her studies the opportunity came for her to become a teacher at Stages and she’s never looked back. She is currently teaching our Pre-School Peaches, Hip-Hop, Senior Jazz, Lyrical, Wednesday Pre-Primary Ballet and Pre-School Pumpkins classes while assisting with our Grade 1 and 2 Ballet classes.
In a few months time she will also be starting an apprenticeship as an Early Years Officer, working towards an SVQ qualification in Social Services, Children and Young People.
“I love seeing the children progress and their confidence grow through their dancing. I feel so lucky to be a part of the amazing Stages family. It’s good to be home.”
